Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Full Time 3p-3a
The primary function of the Registered Nurse is to diagnose and treat human responses to actual or potential health problems through services such as casefinding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being and executing medical regimens prescribed by a licensed physician, or other licensed healthcare providers legally authorized to do so.
Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing. Current New York State RN registration, or eligible for licensure. BLS and ACLS certification required within the first 120 days of employment. PALS certification and/or the completion of the Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) required with 120 days of employment.
Previous patient care experience in the identified area preferred.
